2011

Where it started

Jamie’s racing career began at the relatively late age of 12, when she followed her elder brother into go-karting, taking regular wins and podium results at β€˜junior’ club level.
2013-2014

Ginetta Scholarship Winner

The big step-up for Jamie followed quite quickly when, in 2012, she won the much-coveted 2013 Ginetta Junior Scholarship, which propelled her onto the big stage, racing sports cars in the Ginetta Junior Series, part of the famed British Touring Car Championship.
2015

Record Breaking British GT

Moving up to senior GT endurance racing in the British GT4 Championship, Jamie won the prestigious British GT4 title in the Beechdean Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage, alongside team-mate Ross Gunn. In doing so, Jamie became the youngest driver, and first ever female, to win a British GT title – at only 16-years-of-age. In the same year she was also part of the Silverstone 24 Hour Race winning team, again at the wheel of an AMR V8 Vantage – another first for a female racer – and all before she had even passed her road-going driving test!
2016

Endurance Racing

Focusing on her schooling and academic qualifications in 2016, Jamie contested selected races in British GT with β€˜Great British Bake Off’ star Paul Hollywood as her team-mate. She also earned her Nurburgring β€˜Nordschleife’ Race Permit with Aston Martin, successfully competing in several VLN endurance races.
2017

Single Seater Journey Begins

In 2017 Jamie started to set her sights on the path to F1, moving into single-seater competition in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship – the only female entrant – finishing 8th overall in the standings in her rookie year.
2018

History Making in British F3

Continuing her F3 development, Jamie made headlines as the first ever female driver to win a Formula 3 race with a superb victory at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit.
2019

Championship Wins & Williams F1 comes calling

In 2019 Jamie advanced to the top of her profession with a portfolio of diverse achievements and successes:
- The MRF Asian F3 Winter Series Champion (inc US $30,000 prize
- A test role with NIO Formula E Team
- Appointed Aston Martin Racing Factory GT Driver and Ambassador
- Formula 3 Asia – finishing 4th overall, inc wins and podiums
- W Series F3 Champion (inc US $500,000 prize)
- Nurburgring 24 Hours (N24) with Aston Martin Racing – GT4 Class Winner
- Appointed Williams F1 Development Driver
- Spa Historic in Jaguar E-Type – finishing 11th overall
- Walter Hayes Formula Ford Trophy – Finalist
- Aston Martin BRDC Autosport Young Driver of the Year Award - Finalist
2020

Formula Regional F3

In the year when much racing was disrupted by the global Covid pandemic, Jamie tested the Rodin FZED in New Zealand, followed by Rodin’s supported debut in the Formula Regional F3 European Championship with Prema Powerteam, finishing her maiden season 9th overall.
2021

Double winner of the W-Series Championship

Jamie retained her W-Series Championship title from 2019, concluding the season with double wins at the Austin US Grand Prix and earning valuable Super Licence Points and the US $500,000 prize. Jamie also drove the Keke Rosberg 1982 World Championship winning Williams FW08 Formula 1 car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and competed for Veloce in the brand new Extreme E Off-Road series.
2022

Triple winner of the W-Series Championship

Jamie cemented her domination of the W Series in 2022, earning her a hat-trick of titles in the category, plus more Super Licence Points and a further US $500,000 prize. Jamie also competed in the start-of-year Race of Champions in Northern Sweden, on ice and snow, and was again a finalist in the Aston Martin BRDC Autosport Young Driver of the Year Award. Significantly, she was also appointed as Rolex Sports Ambassador for the world famous Swiss watchmaker.
2023

Stateside for IndyNXT. America, the next chapter

In 2023 Jamie made the significant move to the US, signing to race for DHL Andretti Autosport in the 2023 INDY NXT by Firestone Championship – the support formula to the huge American Indycar Series. This was fundamentally a learning year, adapting to the new team, car, circuits and racing format. Jamie achieved most of her objectives, completing every race, with several top 10s and a best of 6th – finishing 12th overall. And, again, she has competed in Race of Champions and drove the historic 1986 World Championship winning Williams F1 car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. She also continued her media work with the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky Sports.
2024

Back in the States – The β€˜evolution’ continues

Having established herself in her IndyNXT β€˜rookie’ year, Jamie is returning to the Series, as planned, for the 2024 season, aiming to compete at the front for top level honours. Alongside this, she will continue her roles with Williams F1, her TV and media work, and her commitment to β€˜women in sport’.
