Jamie Chadwick has already made quite an impact in motorsport β€” and there is plenty more to come from the British racing driver.
The 26-year-old started her career in karting, where she achieved a host of wins and podiums at junior level, including the 2013 Ginetta Junior Scholarship.
That success saw Jamie step up to the British GT Championship, but she continued to excel at that level β€” becoming the first woman to win the competition in her first year with Beechdean Motorsport.
Jamie was selected to join the Aston Martin Racing Driver Evolution Academy and continued racing in the aforementioned British GT Championship, before inevitably graduating to single-seaters in 2017.
Competing in the British Formula 3 Championship with Double R Racing, it didn’t take her long to make an impression.
The Bath native secured a podium finish at Rockingham in the first race of her debut campaign, before triumphing at Brands Hatch the following season after switching to Douglas Motorsport.
More success followed in 2019 with an MRF Winter Series title, having won multiple races across three weekends in Dubai, Bahrain and Madras.
She also won her first W Series later that year β€” the first of a remarkable three consecutive titles in the competition.
After joining the Williams Racing Academy, Jamie continued to compete in a variety of events across the globe.
She was part of a winning team at the NΓΌrburgring 24 Hour Race in 2019, took part in the F3 Asian Championship in 2019-20 and drove in electric off-road racing series Extreme E in 2021, where she notably finished P2 at the Ocean X-Prix in Senegal.
The next step was to head stateside, becoming the first full-time female driver for 13 years in INDY NXT in 2023.
A commendable maiden campaign with Andretti Autosport yielded 262 points, and saw Jamie extend her deal into 2024, in combination with her role as a Williams Racing Adviser.
She is experiencing further success this season, too β€” winning Road America in Wisconsin to become only the third woman to achieve top spot in an Indy NXT race.
Stay tuned for more developments, then, as Jamie looks to continue her ascent in the world of motorsport into 2025 and beyond!
