Round 7 of the Jamie Chadwick Series produced plenty of excitement on Saturday.
The drivers faced cold conditions at Daytona Sandown Park in the competition’s penultimate round, as they looked to climb the championship standings.
SODI qualifying saw Keira Boylan edge ahead of championship leader Lily Jeffs to claim pole position, but it was Alyona Nikoleava who won the day’s first race, with Lilia Scatchard in second and Jeffs in third.
Jeffs then secured her second consecutive triumph at the Surrey venue β€” winning the second race and finishing the day in top spot, followed by Nikoleava and Amelia Charlesworth.
Elsewhere, DMAX qualifying placed Amelia Wolf in pole position, before a scintillating first race was won by Rhianna Purcocks after penalties for Abi Sanders and Wolf.
Purcocks also triumphed in the following heat to end the day in first place, with Julia Stankowiak in second and Hope Wood in third.
Attention now turns to the competition’s final round, which is scheduled for Saturday 14th December at Daytona Milton Keynes.
Just three points separate Wolf and DMAX leader Purcocks, so everything looks set for a thrilling finale next month.
