She kicked things off by completing her first lap in 1:41.936, before climbing to P1 during the session’s early stages after recording a time of 1:35.314.
But Jamie’s fellow drivers also began registering impressive numbers, with Nissan’s Abbi Pulling (1:32.067) climbing into first place, despite the Bath native posting an improved time of 1:32.545.
NEOM McLaren’s Bianca Bustamante then topped the rankings (1:31.715), while Lena Buehler (Mahindra Racing — 1:31.907) pushed our racer down to fourth.
With Pulling back in top spot by the session’s closing stages, a red flag brought a halt to proceedings when Jess Edgar (DS Penske) came to a stop at Turn 4.
But Jamie made the most of her final few minutes on track when testing resumed — recording her best lap time of the day (1:31.209) to claim second place shortly before the chequered flag.
