Jamie and her IDEC Sport team-mates triumphed at 4 Hours of Silverstone on Sunday — significantly boosting their LMP2 title hopes in the process.
Car No.18 secured an outright victory at the home of British motor racing, to move up to second place in the LMP2 standings.
They are now just seven points behind leaders VDS Panis Racing with one round remaining, following a dramatic weekend in the United Kingdom.
It perhaps didn’t get off to the best of starts, with IDEC Sport placing just 11th in LMP2 Qualifying — but car No.18 rose all the way to P1 by the third hour of Sunday’s main event, as heavy rain impacted the state of play.
An early switch to wet tyres proved fruitful while Mathys Jaubert was behind the wheel, before he handed the reins over to Daniel Juncadella.
The Spaniard was able to drive home his team’s advantage, until a red flag brought the race to a close eight minutes early in worsening conditions.
Jamie, Mathys and Daniel won by a margin of 5.941 seconds, to claim a priceless haul of 25 points — taking their tally to 75 points for the season.
In contrast, title rivals VDS Panis Racing’s No.48 were only able to place eighth in the LMP2 class, after Oliver Gray was penalised for passing a red light at the pit exit.
It sets up a tantalising final round midway through next month, when the 2025 European Le Mans Series concludes in Portugal.
All eyes will be on 4 Hours of Portimão from 16th-18th October, then, to see if Jamie and IDEC Sport can finish the year in top spot.
