Spa-Francorchamps: Jamie is ready for a return to racing
Chadwick targets consistency and enjoyment at challenging Belgian endurance classic

After a well-earned summer pause, Jamie Chadwick is back on track this weekend as the European Le Mans Series heads to Belgium’s Ardennes for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
The IDEC Sport driver has been away from the cockpit since Imola, but returns to one of her favourite circuits - and with plenty still to fight for in the LMP2 standings.
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Spa. It’s been a long break, so it’s always nice to be back in the car,” Jamie explained.
The special challenge at Spa
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is widely recognised as one of motorsport’s crown jewels.
Its sweeping corners, long lap and iconic Eau Rouge-Raidillon sequence test every aspect of driver and machine. For Jamie, the circuit stands out even more in an LMP2 car.
She said: “Spa is such a great track and, especially in the LMP2 car, it’s one of the best we go to. It’s one of my favourite tracks – super fast and one of the longest laps as well, which makes it quite difficult to put it all together.”
With IDEC Sport currently second in the championship, the mission in Belgium is clear: deliver a clean and consistent weekend.
“We’re now second in the championship, so it’s all still to play for. I’m aiming for a clean, strong weekend with no mistakes, and I’ll try to enjoy it as much as possible.”

Looking ahead
The 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps marks the fourth round of the 2025 European Le Mans Series.
After Belgium, Jamie and her IDEC Sport team-mates Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella will look forward to home support at Silverstone in September, before the season concludes in Portimão.
