Jamie achieved more on-track success in a jam-packed May, as she continued her strong start to the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) season.
The 27-year-old claimed her first-ever outright ELMS triumph at 4 Hours of Le Castellet — and a second LMP2 class victory of the campaign.
Our IDEC Sport racer also appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, as well as providing commentary for Channel 4 in Monaco last weekend.
There’s no slowing down in June, though, with another eventful month on the horizon…
Build-up and test day at 24 Hours of Le Mans: Fri 6th - Tues 10th June
Jamie is heading to France for one of the highlights of the motorsport calendar — 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The ultimate endurance challenge will see teams try to cover the maximum distance across a full day of racing, as they attempt to balance speed against the risk of mechanical failure.
But the programme gets under way well before the race itself, starting with technical and engineering checks on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June.
There’s a city centre parade of cars on Saturday, too, ahead of a day of testing on Sunday 8th June.
Attendees can also enjoy autograph sessions and a pit walk the following Tuesday, before the real action gets started later in the week.
Jamie Chadwick Series Round 5: Sunday 8th June
Sandwiched in the middle of 24 Hours of Le Mans is another edition of the Jamie Chadwick Series — a groundbreaking female-only championship that aims to increase the number of women and girls involved in karting.
Round 5 takes place at Daytona Tamworth with a GP track layout, getting started at 10.30am.
There was plenty of excitement last time out in Sandown Park, and you can check out our recap and gallery from that event here.
Or head over to the Daytona website to find out more information about how you can take part in the remaining rounds.
24 Hours of Le Mans: Wednesday 11th - Sunday 15th June
Things start to hot up in France from Wednesday, when Jamie will get behind the wheel for two Free Practice sessions — each lasting three hours.
The following day (Thursday) then sees another opportunity to perfect the car’s setup, prior to ‘hyperpole’ for LMGT3 and LMP2 cars.
This is essentially Qualifying, where teams battle it out over a 20-minute period, with the top eight going through to H2 (lasting 15 minutes) to determine the starting grid for the main event.
We’re not quite done, though, as there’s a fourth Free Practice session that night — and the Drivers’ Parade on Friday — before 24 Hours of the Le Mans finally gets started on Saturday at 4pm local time (CEST).
