The IDEC SPORT No. 18 takes the overall win in tricky conditions at Le Castellet, with Jamie making more history

Jamie Chadwick claimed her second straight victory in the 2025 European Le Mans Series as she and her IDEC SPORT teammates secured the overall win in challenging conditions at Le Castellet.
It’s another historic first in Jamie's career as she become the first-ever female driver to score an outright victory in European Le Mans Series.
After qualifying P4, Jamie took the start in the No. 18 car for the second round of the season, with the circuit greasy as the four hours began.
Jamie saved a wide moment at Turn 2 as several drivers struggled in the early stages, before beginning a recovery drive from P11 in class – but the rain only intensified.
She boxed on Lap 6 for wet tyres and pushed on through the worsening conditions, completing her stint on Lap 31 and handing over to Daniel Juncadella, now running P5 in class.
Speaking after her stint, Jamie said: "It was a cool start, I was convinced that starting on slicks was the right decision - which I think it was - but obviously the rain continued to come.
"The big moment at the start of the race was a bit frustrating because we dropped back a little bit out of position, but we stayed in it. Good timing on the wets and managed to stay in the lead group to hand over to Danny. We're in the fight. and that's the main thing."
The Spaniard continued where Jamie had left off, steadily rising the order to P2 before pitting to complete a 31-lap run of his own. As in Barcelona, Mathys Jaubert took over for the final stint, and with just over an hour to go, the Frenchman seized the lead and never looked back.
The result marks IDEC SPORT’s first overall victory of the year, maintaining a perfect start to the 2025 season for the No. 18 crew.
