The Jamie Chadwick Series has been nominated in the โ€˜most inspiring campaignโ€™ category at the Race Media Awards 2025.
Jamieโ€™s groundbreaking grassroots initiative launched last year, with the aim of increasing female participation in karting.
It has been a remarkable success, with over 450 girls taking part in the inaugural competition, run in partnership with Daytona Motorsport.
The series has resulted in a 1900% increase in female competitive racing at Daytona circuits, as well as a 700% increase in endurance racing entries and an 400% uptick in casual participation, with 200% more girls trying out racing for the first time.
That eye-catching impact has attracted the attention of the Race Media Awards, which recognises creative excellence, genuine impact and global influence in motorsport.
Their โ€˜most inspiring campaignโ€™ award acknowledges campaigns that have raised awareness and brought about change within motorsport and the wider community.
Weโ€™ll find out if the Jamie Chadwick Series has picked up the prize on Wednesday 29th January, during an awards ceremony at Londonโ€™s Plaisterersโ€™ Hall.
In the meantime, you can find out more information about the female-only karting championship here.
